Who I am

I’m a 38 year old graduate and writer from Nottingham, UK.  I currently live with my wife, our five cats, and, regularly, a smart eight year old named Madeleine.

I have years of experience writing books, articles and web content for a range of publications and clients. My work has appeared in The Times, Financial Advisor, The Mail on Sunday, The Independent and Mortgage Solutions amongst many other publications.  My clients include Apple Jupp International, Compare and Save, BBi Horsham, Sandicliffe, Homes Go Fast, Paddy Power, Humres, Calculator.co.uk, Just Remortgages, Capital Caterers, Money.co.uk, Vibration, Freestyle Marketing, Tax Fix, The Little House Company, Property Index, Let’s Move Sales and Lettings, Money Smart World, ukadvice.com, BuyAbility, McAfee Downloads, Credit Card Rewards, Boriswatch, Property Investing and even the Ballinasloe Panto.

I have also recently completed my first book about popular music entitled 101 Forgotten Pop Hits of the 1980s.

I have over a decade’s worth of sales training and experience in one of the UK’s most competitive business sectors and so I have a comprehensive understanding of sales skills and techniques.

I’m also a comedy performer. You can see me doing stand-up in the Nottingham area or performing alongside MissImp, Nottingham’s superb improvised comedy group. There’s more information about my upcoming gigs on my homepage (down the left hand side!)

As well as extensive experience in sales writing, I also write on a range of ‘specialist’ subjects including sport, music, property, finance and even James Bond.
